I am interested in creative approaches to non-clinical therapeutic work in community settings. I trained as a Dance Movement Psychotherapist and completed a Masters in this modality in 2021. I am currently undertaking a Northern Bridge Consortium funded Collaborative Doctoral Award at Northumbria University. This project is partnered with Changing Lives, and explores forms of reparative practice through participatory e-textiles making. I am particularly interested in how alternative modes of repair, recovery and survival can be enacted through the embodied experience of everyday craft practices. My work is rooted in feminist and queer approaches to trauma, mental health, and social justice.
