Commissioned by The Drouth a quarterly periodical, this is an illustrated position paper that explores selfie culture and ethics, discussing the prominence (and shortcomings) of our current ocular-centric perspective in which fundamental concepts of modernity see vision and knowledge meet and influence one another. Leishman’s illustration/artworks include ‘Extinguish My Eyes And I See You Still’ (used as the editions front cover) and ‘I can already taste the emptiness you will bring’ internal art work accompanying the text.
